On May 29, 2013, Honorable David W. Houston, III and the Mississippi Bankruptcy Conference (represented by Terre Vardaman and Kristina Johnson) made a joint donation in the name of David W. Houston III to the University of Mississippi Business Law Institute being formed at the University of Mississippi School of Law. The Conference made the donation in the name of Honorable David W. Houston, III in honor of his distinguished career as a U. S. Bankruptcy Judge and years of commitment to the Conference and its goals to increase education in the fields of bankruptcy and insolvency law. The Conference would like to express special gratitude to Terre Vardaman for her time and effort in making this donation possible.
